Took kids for adventure activities. They had a gala time on rope bridges ,Burma bridges, zip lines and other activities. They also had a nice mountain hike in nearby hills. Reasonable prices. Food was alright with kids pigging out on Maggi noodles.

Beautiful location.. but cottage very small with old and torn linens and blankets.. views ok. No TV..single dirty towel will be provided for two persons.. variety of food not vast. Found prices little exorbitant.. but trip for kids group may be good..

Good Field Camp with Some Amenities

Stayed here 3 nights while attending Holla Mohalla. This is a tented camp. Location: The tented camp is located some 3 km from town so it is walkable but they provide a shuttle service via trucks (ride in or in the truck bed). During Holla Mohalla, you can hear the sounds of the temples and those celebrating from the campsite. Not too loud but it is also not quiet. Area surrounding the camp is farmland so very peaceful. Tent: This is an approximate 4 m by 4 m canvas wall tent with zipper screen and canvas fly doors. Adjacent to the main tent area is a private washroom with sink, toilet and shower area (wand). Power is provided from morning until midnight via generators and hot water (via boiler system) at a couple times a day. Two single beds, a night stand and lockable trunk are inside the tent. There is a also a small table and two chairs just outside for sitting. Chow Tent: All food is served buffet style in the chow tent (my term). Nice selection of food offerings that changes daily. Fresh juice in the morning and some limited wine (Indian) and beer available. Food was good. Service/Staff: All staff were very friendly and helpful. Drivers running the shuttle service were responsible and were at the meeting point on time. Not a hotel, but not roughing it either. A nice option for Hola Mohalla.
